Flavored Popcorn
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup popcorn kernels (olive oil or coconut oil optional)
Flavor Ideas
- Ready-made seasonings such as Everything but the Bagel
- Margarita:
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
- Dash of chili powder
- Grated lime zest to taste
- Italian Breadstick:
- Dash of basil, parsley, and garlic powder
- Breadstick 2:
- Rosemary
- Black pepper
- Shake of Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Place 1/3 cup of popcorn in paper bag.
- Fold over top of bag several times.
- Microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, listening carefully for sounds of decreasing popping.
- Pour into bowl, lightly spray with oil immediately and season to taste.
- Alternatively:
- Place 1/3 cup of popcorn in a glass bowl and mix with 1 to 2 teaspoons of your choice of oil. Lightly cover with lid and microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, listening carefully. Immediately season to taste.
