Free Ethics Consultations at APD
Whether you’re a patient, a patient’s loved one, or a provider, you may have questions about patient care.
APD offers free ethics consultations to help explore options and guide choices. Our ethics group includes providers, nurses, and other trained staff and community members who are here to support patients, loved ones, and healthcare workers. You don’t have to do this alone.
What are healthcare ethics?
Healthcare ethics are beliefs and values that can help guide choices. These include the ideas that we all want to:
- Do what is right.
- Avoid harm to self or others.
- Honor our commitments.
- Be fair.
- Make decisions for ourselves.
